It would be difficult to pick out my most touching moment, but the Iwo Jima section really hammers home the sacrifice they made. Maybe its because I had seen the two movies, "Flags of our Fathers" and "Letters from Iwo Jima" which brought that battle into my heart through individual stories of loss. Here's some pictures of the quotes memorialized.
The first alarm is to alert Americans of the threat of Islam. Not radical Islam, but Islam period. The radical factions may blow up a few people, but I'm referring to the systematic takeover of the entire world to Islam one concession at a time. Dozens of books and hundreds of websites have been devoted to exposing the truth of Islam, its history and its intentions, so I do not intend to regurgitate their work unnecessarily. Go do your own homework. My job is to convince you that an enemy is boarding our ship and you need to prepare for the fight of your life. And today you fight with knowledge; the day may come when you have to pick up a gun or chose to hide and hope you have enough patience and endurance to make it to the end.
The second alarm is intertwined with the first; the end time prophecy fulfillment of the Tribulation and Second Coming of Jesus Christ. As I have studied Islam for two years and have been a Christ follower for almost 40 years, I believe that Islam will fulfill the apocalyptic scenarios of the kingdom of the beast, the false prophet, the anti-christ, the nations warring against Israel. The allah in Islam is satan himself. The entire world's stage is being prepped for the events of Daniel, Ezekiel, Matthew 24, Luke 21 and Revelation to actually take place in the next several years. Call me crazy, a doomsday nut, a Muslim hater, a racist, a bigot, hatemonger, religious fanatic, I don't really care. I'm drawing a line in the sand. The buck stops here. I'm standing up. Time is closing and when Islam has gained an upper hand (and it will according to scripture) I'll lose the freedom to say anything against it or for my God. The kafirs will be martyred or driven into hiding much like the Jews in WWII. I don't like this ending. But to survive alive or to die valiantly will require reliance on God's overall plan of redemption and retribution. God's word has given us everything we need to obtain His promises and He said we will need to add patient endurance to survive the very end. Revelation 13:10 If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed. This calls for the patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints.
Revelation 14:11,12 And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name. This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.
These are the most SOBERING verses in the entire Bible to me.
Where are you? Are you asleep in the ship's hull? When was the last time you visited the crow's nest to lookout and establish your position? Get up there and investigate. Don't let the birds build a nest due to your inactivity. Grab your boarding battle and make some noise.
